MedExem
In development and validation
Deeper learning. Stronger reasoning. A study experience that makes better use of time.
MedExem is an AI-supported education and study application developed to bring a new approach to learning. It is being designed for a range of users that extends from medical and law students, through candidates preparing for the TUS (Türkiye's medical specialisation examination) and the judgeship and prosecutorship examinations, to students in other demanding, specialised fields and professionals who want to develop their expertise. By bringing together the student's own notes, course materials and information scattered across different sources, it aims to help them use their study time more productively, connect topics and develop their reasoning.
Our goal is to build a study routine that supports understanding and applying knowledge: one that makes gaps visible, directs revision to the right topics and lets this progress show in course grades and examination performance.
Studying the same course from different sources, in one context
A short definition on a slide, the lecturer's spoken explanation and the student's own note gain meaning together. The experience MedExem aims for is to connect these parts so that the student can move from an explanation back to the related slide, lecture recording or question. Studying is then not limited to reading the content: understanding, questioning and checking the source become parts of the same process.
What we aim to offer
Study with your own sources
We are developing a structure that brings personal notes and course materials together in the same study context. When the student moves from a personal source to a shared curriculum source, we make it a principle that this distinction stays visible.
Go back to the source of the explanation
We aim to make the document, page, slide or audio segment that answers and study materials are based on reachable. When the source is insufficient, stating that limit clearly is a fundamental part of the approach.
Revise in the way that suits you
We are developing tools for preparing study notes, questions, revision cards and listenable content from the same course sources. The aim is to support the student in studying the same topic by reading, questioning and listening.
The intended study experience
- 1
Notes and course sources
Personal notes, slides, lecture recording
- 2
Linked explanations
From the note to the slide, from the slide to the lecture
- 3
Sourced questions and revision
The source behind every answer stays visible
- 4
Studying by listening
The same content in a listenable form
Intended experience — a diagram, not a product screen
Where are we today?
According to the project report dated 17 September 2026, there are working components in document processing, sourced question answering and content generation, converting lecture audio to text, matching audio with slides, and podcast generation; technical trials have been carried out with real course materials. Combining these components into a single student experience, independent quality measurements, and evaluations by experts and students have not yet been completed. MedExem is in the development and validation stage.

Different fields, a shared learning need
- Medical students and those preparing for the TUS
- Law students and those preparing for the judgeship and prosecutorship examinations
- Students in other demanding, specialised fields
- Professionals developing their expertise and participants in specialist training
The current technical work focuses on the course materials of medical students. Use in legal education, in preparation for other examinations and in specialised fields is part of the platform's broader educational vision.
From Türkiye to the world
When MedExem is ready, it will first be offered to individual users and educational institutions in Türkiye. It is then intended to be opened to use worldwide, covering students, professionals, universities and educational institutions in different countries.
What we would like to work on together
We would like to discuss real course needs, evaluation methods and the possible scope of a pilot study together with educational institutions, academics and content specialists.
